Step-by-Step Instructions on How to Print a Pinterest Board

Printing an entire Pinterest board isn’t a feature directly supported by Pinterest, but with a few workaround steps, it’s still something you can easily accomplish.

You’ll want to complete the following steps from a desktop computer.

Log into Pinterest

From the Pinterest login page, you’ll want to enter your credentials to get logged into your Pinterest account.
Once logged in, you’ll navigate to the Pinterest board you want to print.

Printing from a Chrome Browser

With your Chrome Browser open to your Pinterest board, select File, Print.

3. You’ll want to select Scale, then Custom since from the Print Preview, some of your pins may be cut off like so:

Printing from PDF File – Chrome Browser

1. Following steps 1 and 2 above, from the More Settings dropdown, select Open PDF in Preview.

2. The PDF preview screen will open, here you can click on File, then select the print option to print off your Pinterest Board.

According to their website, the “Pin Toolbox is a Google Chrome extension for Pinterest power users, that lets you download or print full-resolution images & videos in bulk from any board.”

Their free version lets you download the first 15 pins off any board and print the first 15 pins from any board. Their pro version lets you download and print big boards of pins up to a maximum of 5000 pins. Printing from Safari Browser

1. With your Safari Browser open to your Pinterest board, select File, Print.

2. The print window will open, click on Show Details.

3. You’ll want to adjust the scale from 100% to the appropriate number to be able to view all of your pins without them getting cut off the page. Like this:

Printing from PDF File – Safari Browser

I am going to save you a lot of time here! The short answer is you can’t save and print an entire Pinterest Board as a PDF with Safari. The long answer (one I had to Google) is that Safari doesn’t have the capability of saving an entire webpage full of images to a PDF. The result is an entire page filled with black boxes.

In this case, I would recommend you download and try saving your whole Pinterest board from either another browser, or download the Pin Toolbox Pinterest Board Downloader from the Chrome Webstore.

How to Download Individual Pinterest Pins

1. Find the individual pin you want to print by navigating to the appropriate board or using the search bar.

2. Click on the pin you want to print, this will open up the pin to its full size.

3. Right click on the Pinterest image and select ‘Open Image in New Tab’, this will open the image in a new tab on your browser, allowing you to print the image on a blank background. OR click on ‘Save Image as’, to save the individual image to your computer. From here you can insert the downloaded image into a Google Doc or upload it to Canva for easier printing.

4. Then optionally, you can copy and paste the Pin title and description to your document or Canva project.

Can you Print from the Pinterest App on mobile?

Since printing isn’t a native Pinterest functionality, the best way to print a whole Pinterest board is through a web browser on your desktop computer.

Whether you want to create a physical vision board, print individual pins to create an idea book or complete a craft project with the kids. The best and easiest way to print an entire board or an individual pin is through a Web browser on your desktop computer.

A quick reminder: Make sure you have the right to use the downloaded images or boards. If not, you could run into copyright issues, and no one wants that!
